These days in Thanh Ha district, the largest fruit growing area in Hai Duong province, farmers are busy planting spring trees.
This year, Thanh Ha district launched the Tree Planting Festival in Thanh An commune.Makalot Vietnam Garment Company Limited donated 2,770 trees to Thanh Ha districtThis year, Thanh Ha district plans to plant 200,000 trees in the spring, an increase of 500 trees compared to spring 2024. The localities assigned to plant a lot include: Thanh Ha town and Cam Viet commune, each with 16,800 trees, Vinh Cuong commune with 15,900 trees. Compared to other places, Thanh Ha is the locality that suffered the most damage to fruit trees in the province after storm No. 3 in 2024. Therefore, right after the Tet holiday, farmers in the district proactively prepared the land to plant trees, restoring the lost fruit tree area.Farmers are planting lychee trees. Lychee is grown in large quantities in the Ha Dong area. The lychee area damaged by storm No. 3 is concentrated in the Ha Dong area.By February 15, the whole district had planted 35% of the plan.Tree planting time starts from January to the end of March 2025.
