Giam Pagoda worships the Great Physician - Zen Master Tue Tinh, a saint of traditional medicine, from Cam Vu commune (in the same district of Cam Giang). The pagoda was built during the Ly dynasty and was restored and embellished by the Great Physician Tue Tinh in the 14th century. In the late 17th and early 18th centuries, the pagoda was rebuilt on a large scale. The pagoda was ranked as a national monument in 1974 and recognized as a special national monument in 2017.
