On the last afternoon of the year, meaningful gifts from the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation were delivered to workers who were unable to return home for Tet.

On the afternoon of January 20 (December 29), leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation visited and presented 28 gifts (each gift included 500,000 VND in cash and gifts worth 500,000 VND) to workers and laborers who did not return home for Tet at the boarding houses in Tu Minh and Binh Han wards (Hai Duong city).

Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Federation Ngo Thi Thanh Hoa presents Tet gifts to workers and laborers who cannot return home for Tet at the boarding house in Tu Minh ward.

Compared to the years of the Covid-19 pandemic, this year there are fewer workers and laborers staying. Those who stay in the boarding house are mainly from far away hometowns, want to stay to find extra work or have low salaries that are not enough to pay for bus tickets and buy things to go back to their hometowns.

By January 20, the Provincial Federation of Labor had given nearly 17,000 Tet gifts to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances (each gift worth 500,000 VND). This is the year the Provincial Federation of Labor has given the most Tet gifts to workers and laborers ever.

Provincial Labor Federation officials visited and encouraged workers and laborers to stay at the boarding house to celebrate Tet.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2023, the Provincial Labor Federation supported bus tickets for 350 union members and workers living far from home in difficult circumstances (each ticket includes 500,000 VND, including 300,000 VND for bus tickets and 200,000 VND for gift bags).
