At the "Excellent Grassroots Trade Union Officers 2024" Contest, Gia Loc District Labor Federation won first prize, with the second prize shared by the Construction Industry Trade Union, Nam Sach District Labor Federation and Kinh Mon Town Labor Federation.
On the morning of July 3, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized the "Excellent Grassroots Union Cadres 2024" Contest.
19 teams from grassroots unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor participated in the contest. Each team of 5 contestants competed in 3 parts: general knowledge, situation handling and eloquence.
In the knowledge and situation handling competition, the participating teams answered 20 questions related to the Trade Union Law, Social Insurance Law, Labor Code, Trade Union Congress Resolutions through the periods... Performed skits to resolve situations that occurred in trade union activities, labor, and production at the facility.
At the end of the 2 rounds, the 9 teams with the highest scores participated in a speech contest on the topic "Trade union activities".
As a result, Gia Loc District Labor Federation won first prize; second prize went to the Construction Industry Union, Nam Sach District Labor Federation and Kinh Mon Town Labor Federation.
The contest aims to raise awareness among grassroots trade union officials about the position, role, functions and tasks of trade union organizations; about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and the resolutions of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels. The contest helps union officials draw practical experiences to consolidate and build strong and united grassroots trade unions.
This is also an activity towards the 95th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024).
