Hai Duong currently has 565 large and medium-sized livestock and poultry farms. Of these, up to 80% of the farms meet the criteria for high-tech agricultural production such as closed, automatic, semi-automatic farming, automatic cooling systems, biological bedding, etc. The average value of commodity production is 2.2 billion VND/farm/year. On average, each farm earns from 500 million to 1 billion VND/year.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong, the province's livestock industry is developing in an industrial direction, applying high technology to ensure disease safety, organic production, according to VietGAHP standards, and food safety. Concentrated livestock farms have opened up large commodity production areas, meeting the increasing demands of consumers.
