In this price increase, only Toyota Corolla Cross 1.8G increased by 5 million VND to 760 million VND, while the two versions 1.8V and 1.8HV remained the same.
Recently, Toyota Vietnam has unexpectedly updated the list price of the Toyota Corolla Cross version on its homepage. Accordingly, the Toyota Corolla Cross 1.8G version has a new price of 760 million VND, a slight increase of 5 million VND compared to the previous old price. The remaining versions of this model, 1.8V and 1.8HV, have unchanged prices, respectively 860 million and 955 million VND.
Since its launch in August 2020, Toyota Corolla Cross has increased its price a total of 4 times. The G and V versions increased by a total of 40 million, and the HV version increased by 45 million VND.
The Japanese company did not publicly announce the price increase of Corolla Cross, dealers updated the new price and notified customers. The Japanese car company also did not announce the reason for the price increase, however, some dealers commented that this could be the beginning, paving the way for the "launch date" of the Toyota Yaris Cross imported from Indonesia on September 19 in Vietnam (a way to balance the price between the old and new product lines).
According to statistics from VAMA, since the beginning of 2023, Toyota Corolla Cross has sold 7,466 vehicles, the most in the company's product line, accounting for about 24.5% of the sales market share and ranking 4th in the entire market in terms of sales. And it is also the best-selling high-chassis vehicle model in the Vietnamese car market in the first 7 months of 2023. In July 2023 alone, a total of 1,125 vehicles were sold, an increase of 87.5% and ranked 2nd in the high-chassis vehicle segment in terms of sales.

With many outstanding designs plus reasonable prices, Corolla Cross has been promoted from a rookie to the top of the rankings in the same segment, always in the top 10 best-selling cars in the entire car market in the context of the sales decline of the main models such as Vios, Innova, Fortuner.
