Secretary General, Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong meets voters of Thanh Mien district

On the morning of September 29, the delegation of delegates including comrades: Bui Van Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, General Secretary, Head of the National Assembly Office; Nguyen Thi Viet Nga, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Thi Mai Thoa, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Education met with voters at the Central Cultural House of Thanh Mien district.

At the meeting, voters in Thanh Mien district requested financial support for purchasing rat poison; strengthening the management of fertilizers and pesticides; consolidating the irrigation canal system, and supporting households whose crop areas were damaged by natural disasters. Voters in Thanh Tung commune proposed to amend some standards and regulations for qualified schools; consider reclaiming the remaining small land areas after site clearance for project implementation because people are facing difficulties and not enough for cultivation. Voters also reflected that the rate of revenue sharing from land use rights auctions to district and commune levels is still low.

At the meeting, comrade Tran Van Quan, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee answered many opinions and recommendations of voters of Thanh Mien district.

Comrade Bui Van Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, General Secretary, and Head of the National Assembly Office, acknowledged the opinions and contributions of voters in Thanh Mien district and requested the local government to continue to receive and clearly respond to voters' opinions within its authority.
