Voters in Kim Thanh, Cam Giang reflect on inadequacies in traffic, land, and environmental resources.

Morning of September 27,Comrades: Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Viet Nga, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Dinh Thi Ngoc Dung, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong met with voters in Kim Dinh commune (Kim Thanh).

In Kim Dinh commune, 4 voters reported that National Highway 17B through Kim Thanh district is narrow, with many heavy trucks passing through, causing traffic insecurity; the progress of granting land use right certificates is slow; some grassroots officials have weak capacity and hold multiple jobs, leading to low work efficiency...

Speaking at the meeting with voters in Kim Dinh commune, comrade Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province, highly appreciated the opinions and feedback of voters sent to the National Assembly Delegation of the province.

Receiving voters' feedback on National Highway 17B, Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung requested the relevant agencies to strengthen inspection and handling of owners of vehicles violating oversized and overloaded regulations, and the encroachment of roadside by business households. Regarding the slow progress of granting land use right certificates, he requested Kim Thanh district and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to soon have solutions to overcome the slow measurement and granting of land use right certificates to people.

On the same afternoon, delegates Nguyen Thi Viet Nga and Dinh Thi Ngoc Dung met with voters in Luong Dien commune (Cam Giang).

In Luong Dien commune, 9 voters reported on inadequacies in calculating electricity prices, poor water quality for agricultural production, heavily polluted Sat River, and many villages lacking cultural houses.

Voters in Cam Giang district also recommended that the province should provide financial support for the activities of villages and Party cells; have a mechanism so that when land is allocated to enterprises, the locality receives support to improve rural infrastructure and build new rural areas; issue land use right certificates to households donating land for road construction...

Right at the meeting, local leaders and related departments and branches answered and resolved many opinions and recommendations of voters.

As planned, on the morning of September 29, the delegation including comrades: Bui Van Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, General Secretary, Head of the National Assembly Office; Nguyen Thi Viet Nga; Nguyen Thi Mai Thoa met with voters at the central cultural house of Thanh Mien district.

At the meetings, voters of the two districts listened to National Assembly deputies of Hai Duong province announce the expected content of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly and report on the response to voters' opinions and recommendations. Accordingly, the 6th session is expected to open on October 20 and be divided into 2 phases, closing on November 29. The session is expected to consider and pass 9 draft laws, 2 draft resolutions, give opinions on 8 draft laws and consider other important economic and social issues. At this session, the National Assembly will conduct a vote of confidence for people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly.

In receiving and handling petitions and letters after the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly, the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province received 69 citizens, received 54 complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections, the content of which was mainly related to land, policies, etc. The petitions were forwarded to competent authorities for settlement.
