Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc appointed as Chief of the Party Central Office

On the morning of June 3, the Party Central Office held a ceremony to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

At the ceremony, Standing member of the Party Secretariat Luong Cuong presented the Politburo's decision to transfer and appoint Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, to hold the position of Chief of the Party Central Committee Office.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc is the successor of Mr. Le Minh Hung - assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Head of the Central Organizing Committee in mid-May.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc was born in 1964, hometown Luong Bang town, Kim Dong district, Hung Yen province. He has a Master's degree in Law; Advanced degree in political theory.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc is a member of the 13th Party Central Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc worked at the Hanoi City Police Department in the following positions: Head of Thanh Tri District Police; Head of Road and Railway Traffic Police Department; Chief of Office of the Investigation Police Agency; Deputy Director; Head of the Investigation Agency.

After that, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc held the following positions at the Ministry of Public Security: Deputy Director General of the General Department of Police; Director of the Department of Investigation Police for Crimes of Corruption, Economy, and Smuggling.

Since August 2019, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc has been Deputy Minister of Public Security.

On December 12, 2023, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Duy Ngoc was promoted to the rank of Senior Lieutenant General.
