According to the announcement of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, as of December 24, the highest Lunar New Year 2025 bonus in Hai Duong was announced to belong to an individual at a business in Nam Sach Industrial Park with 150 million VND. This bonus is 21.9% higher than the highest bonus for the 2024 Lunar New Year.
This year, the FDI enterprise sector has an average Lunar New Year bonus of VND 6,050,000/person (down 2% compared to 2024), the lowest bonus is equivalent to last year at VND 100,000/person.
At a single-member LLC with 100% state capital, the average bonus is VND 2.6 million/person (50% compared to 2024). Of which, the highest bonus is VND 16.6 million/person, the lowest is VND 1 million/person.
Enterprises with controlling shares and capital contributions from the State have an average bonus of VND 6,480,000/person (down 2% compared to 2024). Of which, the highest bonus is VND 8 million/person, the lowest is VND 1 million/person.
Private enterprises have an average bonus of 6.6 million VND/person (an increase of 25% compared to 2024). The highest is 77.6 million VND/person, the lowest is 100,000 VND/person.
In addition, according to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, this year the highest Lunar New Year bonus is 52.5 million VND/person, at a business in the Dai An expanded industrial park.
Preliminary statistics in the whole province show that most businesses choose to give Lunar New Year bonuses higher than those for Solar New Year (businesses that offer bonuses usually apply a level of about 1 month's salary according to the labor contract).
This year, 86 businesses reported that they planned to give bonuses to employees for both the Lunar New Year and the Solar New Year (accounting for 41.1% of the total number of businesses reporting).
