Goalkeepers compete to show off their skills, MU draws with Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace faced MU at Selhurst Park Stadium (London, England) in round 5 of the Premier League. Despite creating many opportunities, the "Red Devils" could not score any goals and only won 1 point.

MU dominated the entire match. The away team was superior in all attacking statistics such as expected goals (1.86-1.03), possession (70%-30%), number of shots (16-7).

However, the Red Devils' attacking efforts only served as a platform for the former MU player now playing for Crystal Palace to demonstrate his ability. Goalkeeper Dean Henderson made 5 saves when facing difficult shots from the visitors.

When Henderson was defeated, the ball hit the crossbar (twice) or went wide of the goal. MU missed many opportunities after performing very good attacking combinations in many ways.

This was a match that celebrated the two goalkeepers. Henderson's opposite number Andre Onana also made some excellent saves.

Crystal Palace attacked less but the chances they created were all very threatening. The number of shots on target of the home team was almost equal to MU (4 compared to 5).

Both Crystal Palace and MU missed opportunities, neither team scored. The match ended in a 0-0 draw. This was the 5th consecutive match in the past 4 years that MU failed to beat Crystal Palace away and the 4th time they failed to score against this opponent.
