After the blood collection at Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company, Kinh Mon town ranked first in the province in implementing voluntary blood donation targets.
On December 26, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Kinh Mon town coordinated with Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company to organize the Kinh Mon Blood Donation Festival of Thousands of Red Hearts.
The festival collected 612 units of blood, bringing the total amount of blood collected in 2024 of the town to 2,369 units. With this result, Kinh Mon town achieved over 200% of the assigned target, surpassing Thanh Ha district, leading the province in blood donation collection.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, President of the Kinh Mon Town Red Cross Society, this is the first time in the past 15 years that the Kinh Mon Town Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee has collected blood at businesses (previously, blood was only collected at communes, wards; agencies; schools).
In recent times, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Kinh Mon Town has always proactively approached blood donation sources; actively promoted and mobilized in many forms, spreading the good value of blood donation to save lives among all classes of people.
