Hai Duong City Party Committee meets and expresses gratitude to health sector staff on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day

At the meeting, Comrade Le Dinh Long, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong City Party Committee acknowledged, commended, highly appreciated and expressed gratitude for the efforts and contributions of medical staff in caring for and protecting the health of the city's people. At the same time, he sent his best wishes to the leaders of the Department of Health, representatives of medical units and facilities on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day.

He hopes that every medical staff will always actively practice their expertise and professional ethics, compete to study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings "a good doctor is like a mother".

Hai Duong City has a high population density, which is prone to complicated and prolonged epidemics. Therefore, the Hai Duong City Party Committee requested the health sector to continue to closely coordinate with the city's Party Committees, authorities, departments and branches to improve the effectiveness of protecting, caring for and improving people's health. The leaders of the Hai Duong City Party Committee affirmed that the Party Committee, authorities and people of the city will always prioritize investing resources and supporting the development of the health system, especially the grassroots health network and private health facilities.

Also at the meeting, the leaders of Hai Duong City agreed on a number of coordination contents of the Department of Health in perfecting the grassroots health system, improving the effectiveness of medical examination and treatment under health insurance; acknowledged the support requests of a number of units, hospitals, and medical facilities in facilitating facilities for professional activities; and implementing long-term investment and development plans.
