The tug of war and folk games competition in Thanh Ha district (Hai Duong) took place enthusiastically, attracting many cadres, civil servants and public employees to participate.
On the morning of March 12, Thanh Ha district organized a tug of war and folk games to celebrate the Party and the New Year of the Dragon 2024. More than 100 officials, civil servants, public employees, armed forces and workers participated in the tournament, divided into 11 teams, competing in the following events: tug of war, clay pot smashing, and sack jumping.
In the men's and women's tug of war event, the Thanh Ha District Party Committee and People's Committee team won first prize. The District Military Command won first prize in the men's tug of war event. The District Police won first prize in the men's sack jumping event. The District Medical Center won first prize in the women's sack jumping event. The pot breaking event had 32 participants.
The sports tournament aims to respond to the movement of the whole people to exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho, preserve national cultural identity, promote the physical education and sports movement among cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to develop more and more.
