The Chairman of Gia Loc District People's Committee (Hai Duong) has just fined 17.5 million VND to a case of creating and selling 2 illegal invoices.
On September 6, 2024, Gia Loc District Police discovered that Ms. Pham Thi Hanh, at 135 Le Thanh Nghi Street, Zone 7 (Gia Loc Town) used a computer and USB token (USB digital signature) of business household Bui Duc Hung (residing in Dong Mo urban area, Gia Loc Town) to create and sell 2 illegal invoices to Mr. Nguyen Trong Thuong, at Phuong Bang village (Hong Hung commune) for 370,000 VND.
Ms. Hanh's behavior violates the provisions of Decree No. 125/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government regulating administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoices (amended and supplemented in Decree No. 102/2021/ND-CP dated November 16, 2021).
In addition to being fined 17.5 million VND, Ms. Hanh was forced to return the 370,000 VND she earned from selling the 2 invoices. The Chairman of Gia Loc District People's Committee assigned the District Police to coordinate with the Tu Loc Tax Department to cancel the 2 invoices.
