Mr. Pham Van M. in Tu Cuong commune (Thanh Mien) and Mr. Nguyen Van H. in Nhan Quyen commune (Binh Giang, Hai Duong) were both severely punished for not complying with alcohol concentration testing.
On the morning of January 26, a representative of the Traffic and Order Police Team (Thanh Mien District Police) said that the unit had just drawn up a record to fine 2 cases of not complying with alcohol concentration testing.
Previously, at 9:00 p.m. on January 24, while on patrol duty, controlling vehicles on Provincial Road 392B through Thanh Mien town, the Thanh Mien district traffic police asked Mr. Pham Van M. in Tu Cuong commune, who was driving a motorbike, to stop for an alcohol test. However, Mr. M. did not comply and tried to avoid it. After the test, Mr. M. could not present his driver's license and vehicle registration.
At 11 p.m. the same day, Mr. Nguyen Van H. in Nhan Quyen Commune (Binh Giang) was driving a motorbike carrying a passenger but was not wearing a helmet. The authorities asked Mr. H. to stop the vehicle to check his alcohol level but Mr. H. did not agree. During the investigation, Mr. H. could not present his driver's license and vehicle registration.
The Traffic Police and Public Order Team of Thanh Mien District issued a fine of 14 million VND to Mr. M. and 15 million VND to Mr. H. In addition to being fined for not having a driver's license and not having a vehicle registration, both cases were also fined to the maximum limit for not complying with the request of the authorities to check their alcohol concentration.
