Increase resources to serve flights to pick up and drop off delegates attending the National Funeral

ACV prepares the best conditions to serve wholeheartedly and thoughtfully the flights to pick up and drop off domestic and international delegations attending the State Funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has just requested its affiliated units to increase the allocation of resources to serve wholeheartedly and thoughtfully the flights to pick up and drop off domestic and international delegations during the State's State Funeral for Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Accordingly, ACV requires branch airports and unit heads to prepare the best conditions; ensure aviation security and safety, ensure operations and service quality at airports before, during and after the National Funeral.

ACV units proactively coordinate with State agencies and local authorities to better serve the delegations attending the National Funeral; ensure security, order and traffic safety at airports; review the decoration at passenger terminals to ensure solemnity and politeness throughout the National Funeral.

ACV also requested that airports under the corporation apply level 1 enhanced aviation security control measures at branch airports according to Decision No. 1724/QD-CHK dated July 22, 2024 of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam on applying enhanced aviation security control measures during the funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

In addition, ACV units will fly flags at half-mast and stop all entertainment, cultural, sports and festival activities during the two days of National Mourning (July 25-26, 2024); postpone or postpone events held during the week of July 22-28, 2024.
