After confirming online admission on the Ministry of Education and Training system, candidates need to prepare documents to enroll directly at the school.
In the admission notice sent to candidates, universities and colleges will have detailed notices about the documents new students need to prepare.
Typically, the required admission documents include:
- Certificate of admission
- Student resume
- High school transcript
- Certificate of high school graduation exam results
- Birth certificate
- Citizen identification
- 3x4 or 4x6 photo
- Health certificate, policy identification certificate (if any)
- Union Membership Book
- Party activity transfer paper (for new students who have joined the Party)
- Military service transfer recommendation letter (for male students)
New students should note that the admission notice must be the original, the graduation certificate must be the original and a notarized copy, the admission application must include all items, a photo with a stamp and confirmation from the local authority. And the transcript must also be a notarized copy.
Students admitted based on priority points (subject, region) must submit a priority certificate. Policy identification certificate: ethnic minorities, children of martyrs, children of wounded/disabled soldiers (with notarized copy of wounded/disabled soldier card), poor household certificate... used to consider tuition fee exemption.
If students decide to stay in a boarding house, they need a temporary absence permit from the locality to register for temporary residence at the locality where they rent the boarding house.
Candidates who do not confirm their admission within the prescribed time limit, without a valid reason, will be considered as refusing admission and the training institution has the right to not accept them.
If due to illness or accident, with a certificate from a district hospital or higher, or due to natural disaster with confirmation from a district People's Committee or higher, the training institution will consider deciding to accept the candidate to study or reserve the admission results for the candidate to study later;
If due to errors or mistakes made by the staff performing the admission work or the individual candidates, the training institution will proactively coordinate with relevant individuals and organizations to review the evidence and decide to accept the candidate or reserve the admission results for the candidate to enroll later.
Candidates who have confirmed their enrollment at a training institution are not allowed to participate in the admission process elsewhere or in additional admission rounds, unless permitted by the training institution.
