Dr. Vo Van Tuan, Vice Principal of the school, said that some parents and candidates reported to the school that they had recently received "notice about paying tuition fees for new students of the 28th course in 2022".
According to this announcement, candidates/parents can pay the admission fee in two ways: bank transfer (with account information as Van Lang University and account number at PG Bank) with an amount of more than 86 million VND; or pay in cash at the school when coming to complete the admission procedures.
Notice dated August 19, 2022, signed by the principal and stamped by the school.
"The danger is that even though the name of the account holder receiving the money does not match the account number, when transferring money online, students may enter the account number and not notice that the account holder's name is different from the name of Van Lang University, but still press the transfer button, losing money. Someone has already transferred money," said Mr. Tuan.
In case of needing to verify information about tuition fees and payment of admission fees, candidates and parents should contact the school's accounting department or admissions and communications department for support.
According to the 2022 enrollment roadmap, Van Lang University will complete virtual screening and announce admission results, inviting candidates to enroll after September 15. From this point on, the school will issue official instructions on paying tuition fees for new students.
