At the end of October, the group of authors Nguyen Quoc Binh, Nguyen Thi Thom and Nguyen Van Quyen, working at the Political Department, Military Command of Hai Duong province, won the promising prize in the 3rd Political Essay Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
As soon as the contest was launched, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command actively responded and participated in the contest. The Provincial Military Command is one of the units with many works sent to the Steering Committee on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against the province's wrong and hostile views (Steering Committee 35 provinces).
Through careful research on the meaning and requirements of the contest and connection with reality, the group of authors came up with ideas for the content of the work, choosing to compete in the video category. The content of the video aims to expose the plots and tricks of hostile forces to divide the solidarity between the army and the people, thereby helping officers and soldiers identify and raise their vigilance against those plots, contributing to strengthening political and ideological education in the force. The video also pointed out 5 valuable lessons such as the need to promote the combined strength of the forces, especially Steering Committee 35 and Force 47. It is necessary to strongly spread positive information, promptly refute bad and toxic information against the Party and the State. Party committees and commanders must do a good job of mass mobilization and policy work. Raise awareness and responsibility in maintaining the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, completing all assigned tasks well, especially discipline in military-civilian relations...
Comrade Nguyen Quoc Binh, the group leader, said: "This is the first time we have approached the political field, so we encountered certain difficulties. From coming up with the idea to starting to implement and completing the work took nearly a month. The time to carry out the topic was also the time when we had to carry out a lot of professional work for the unit, so we had to take advantage of breaks and days off. If the members are not dedicated and responsible, it will be very difficult to ensure the progress and quality of the proposed work."
In order to convey the message of the work to the audience in the most authentic and understandable way, the group of authors invested a lot of time researching the use of appropriate images and scenes. The members of the group exploited written and visual sources through official information channels, and read many books and newspapers at the provincial library and the library of the Provincial Military Command. In addition, the scenes were also filmed right in the unit, contributing to making the images more vivid and rich.
Comrade Nguyen Van Quyen is a member of the information group. The group of authors has received support and created all conditions from the Provincial Military Command. As a regular contributor to Hai Duong Newspaper, Military Zone 3 Newspaper..., the group of authors has promoted experience in creating journalistic works.
The work "Resolutely defeat the plot to cause division between the army and the people of the hostile forces" by the group of authors was highly appreciated by the Steering Committee of 35 provinces, selected as one of 193 works of Hai Duong to participate and won the promising prize in the 3rd Political Essay Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation organized by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. This is also the only work of Hai Duong to win the contest.
