Construction of the Project on Integrated Development of Dynamic Urban Areas of Hai Duong City has been temporarily suspended.

According to the Management Board of the Hai Duong City Dynamic Urban Development Project, all ongoing construction packages of the project will be suspended until October 18. On October 19, contractors will resume construction.

The construction was temporarily suspended so that localities could carry out environmental sanitation and urban beautification to celebrate the 220th anniversary of the founding of Thanh Dong (1804-2024) and the 70th anniversary of the city's liberation (October 30, 1954-October 30, 2024).

The Hai Duong City Dynamic Urban Development Project has completed about 75% of the work volume. The project aims to complete the technical infrastructure for main roads in the western area of ​​Hai Duong City; renovate the drainage system to prevent flooding for about 1,000 hectares in the western area of ​​the city and support sustainable urban development.

The project consists of two components: construction and upgrading of urban technical infrastructure and technical support and implementation support. In particular, the construction and upgrading of technical infrastructure component will renovate and complete the technical infrastructure system on Nguyen Luong Bang and Thanh Binh streets; renovate the stormwater drainage system to prevent flooding; build a wastewater collection and treatment system for the western area of ​​the city...
