Some leaked information said that Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has completed the design and started production.
According to leaker Roland Quandt, Samsung has completed the design for all three of its flagship phones, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, and put them into mass production. Samsung's flagship Galaxy S series is expected to launch in January 2025.
Meanwhile, leaker Ice Universe reported that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have more curved edges than its predecessor, which is said to make it easier to hold and operate. Notably, the Galaxy S25 Ultra measures 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm, compared to the 162.3 x 79 x 8.6 mm of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
If the dimensions of the Galaxy S25 Ultra are accurate, it will be thinner than any previous Galaxy S Ultra smartphone. It will also be 0.5mm longer and 1.4mm narrower than the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
This person also revealed that Samsung will continue to use 45W fast charging for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, similar to the Galaxy S20 Ultra launched in 2020. Furthermore, the S25 Ultra will have a 5,000mAh battery capacity like its predecessors.
Information about the chipset used in Samsung's second Galaxy S AI line is currently unclear. Android Police cited several sources saying that the line could use Samsung's "in-house" Exynos 2500 chip, while there are rumors that MediaTek chips will also be used.
However, the most popular information is that Samsung will switch to using 100% Qualcomm chips to maximize AI capabilities on new devices.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is also rumored to get major camera upgrades, including a new 50MP 3x telephoto sensor.
The next few months are shaping up to be busy for Samsung’s mobile division. While the Galaxy S25 is still a few months away, the company is expected to release the Galaxy S24 FE soon, followed by the Galaxy Tab S10 series.
