The Shenzhou-18 crew consists of three astronauts, Ye Guangfu, Li Cong and Li Guangsu, with Ye Guangfu as commander. Previously, these astronauts participated in the maintenance of the space station, ensuring the maintenance of the life and health support system, and conducting inspections and tests of the EVA spacesuits. In addition, they participated in system-wide pressure emergency drills, medical rescue drills and other training programs.

According to CMSA, the three-man crew of the Shenzhou-18 spacecraft has embarked on a series of space science experiments and completed the second installation of experimental equipment to assess changes in matter when exposed to the space environment.

CMSA said the Shenzhou-18 crew is in good health and the space station complex is operating smoothly, creating favorable conditions for conducting space activities.

The Tiangong space station is scheduled to be completed in 2022 and will be operated by teams of Chinese astronauts on a six-month rotation basis. It is expected to remain in low Earth orbit at an altitude of 400 km to 450 km above our planet for at least 10 years.
