The ninth term took place in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic affecting all aspects of social life. However, with the attention of the province, the central government, and the efforts of the association, artists of Dong province have created many outstanding literary and artistic works..

In professional activities, the annual creative camp of 9 professional departments has been put into practice, focusing on quality. Notably, the socialization of literature and art has been promoted through coordinated activities, sponsorship of units, businesses, and the self-efforts of artists...

During the past term, the activities of promoting and popularizing works also left their mark. From the Central budget to support literary and artistic creation, 226 works, groups of works, projects, roles... were supported. Thanks to that, 60 books were published. The members of the art sector had 156 authors, directors, actors, and singers participating in exhibitions and performances at all levels with 884 works, roles and 17 exhibitions.

The Association also actively focuses on discovering, training and developing members. During the last term, 20 members were admitted, bringing the total number to more than 200 members, including 95 members from Central professional associations.

The Association successfully organized many other activities to create richness and liveliness in the province's literary and artistic life such as: participating in fine arts and photography exhibitions in the Red River Delta region; the 21st and 22nd international art photography festivals; exchanging and organizing workshops to exchange experiences with 16 art troupes of the central and provincial levels...

Hai Duong Literature and Arts Magazine has been increasingly improving in quality, effectively carrying out its political tasks, introducing to readers outstanding literary and artistic works. During the past term, the magazine and the association's Fanpage organized 4 literary and artistic composition competitions; published 60 issues with over 90,000 copies in and outside the province.

Enhance creativity

In the new term, the province's artists are determined to unite and contribute to building a common home. In particular, we will continue to consolidate and develop the association, strengthen solidarity among the team, improve creative capacity and professional capacity to produce many high-quality works with good content and artistic value, deeply reflecting the reality of social life, aiming at the values ​​of truth - goodness - beauty, humanistic values, rich in the identity of Hai Duong homeland.

The Association consolidates and perfects the apparatus of leadership agencies, professional departments, and the Literature and Arts Magazine to ensure sufficient capacity and operating conditions, completing the tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations and specified through the Resolution of the 10th Congress of the Literature and Arts Association of Hai Duong province for the 2024-2028 term.

Do a good job in socializing literature and art, actively develop a program of coordination with agencies, departments, branches, and businesses inside and outside the province to promote the spread of literature and art into social life. Build a team of artists, cadres, and civil servants of the Association Office and the Literature and Arts Magazine with moral qualities; oppose the peaceful evolution of hostile forces; self-evolution and self-degradation in the fields of ideology, culture, literature and art...

With new confidence and spirit, Hai Duong artists and writers confidently embark on a challenging yet proud journey to build a sustainable and high-quality literature and art of Hai Duong province, with a worthy position in the country's general literature and art; and to build Hai Duong homeland to increasingly develop.

During the past term, the Hai Duong Provincial Literature and Arts Association had 148 authors, actors, and singers with 363 works, roles, and songs winning awards at all levels. Of which, 98 were national awards, 233 were provincial awards, 32 were regional and sectoral awards. In particular, 69 works, clusters of works, and excellent roles were awarded the 8th Con Son - Hai Duong Literature and Arts Award (2016-2020 period) by the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee. The Association awarded 16 certificates of merit to 7 collectives and 183 certificates of merit to 118 individuals for their achievements in literary and artistic creation and activities. The Association was awarded 1 emulation flag from the Government, 1 emulation flag from the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, and many certificates of merit, certificates of merit, etc.
