Another person found using a fake driver's license

At 3:00 p.m. on April 10, at km67+100 of National Highway 5, in Tuan Viet Commune (Kim Thanh), the patrol team of the Nga Ba Hang Traffic Control Station, under the Traffic Police Department (Hai Duong Provincial Police) stopped and checked car 30H-306.82 for speeding.

During the inspection, the driver was Tran Van Khanh (born in 1982, residing in Van An ward, Bac Ninh city). Khanh presented a class B2 car driver's license issued by the Bac Ninh Department of Transport on February 18, 2022, valid until February 18, 2032. Through data comparison, the authorities discovered that the driver's license showed signs of forgery.

Fake driver's license

During the direct investigation, Tran Van Khanh confessed that because he did not meet the requirements for a driver’s license, he asked his family to make a fake driver’s license for “self-defense” in order to fool the authorities. Through a quick test, the driver tested positive for drugs.

The working group has drawn up a record and handed over the case to the Investigation Police Agency (Kim Thanh District Police) for handling according to their authority.

This is the third case of using a fake driver's license discovered and handled by the Nga Ba Hang Traffic Control Station since March 11.
