Accordingly, the flashing pellet spraying system and the flower spraying system are the two newest products that Factory Z121 sells to the market during this year's Tet holiday.

Compared to the pellet gun products sold last year, these two new gun products will have a higher firing range, with more sparkling sound, light, and color effects than the old products.

It is known that both new types of fireworks from Factory Z121 have 25 tubes, the firing time is about more than 1 minute, listed at 330,000 VND/set.

However, before the Lunar New Year holiday, the selling price of flashing pellet sprayers and flower sprayers is being pushed up by authorized dealers and "online fireworks stores" many times higher than the listed price.

New flashing flower sprayers and pellet sprayers are both sold at prices many times higher than listed prices.

On the morning of December 26, at the authorized fireworks store of Factory Z121 at 195 Quan Hoa Street (Cau Giay District, Hanoi), the old pellet spraying system and the latest flashing pellet spraying system began to be sold.

Here, the pellet spraying rig is being sold for 450,000 VND (the listed price is 308,000 VND). In particular, with the "latest 2023" flashing pellet spraying rig, this store "shouts" the price up to 800,000 VND/rig, much higher than the listed price.

In addition, the outdoor silver water cannon with a listed price of 25,000 VND/package is also sold by this store for 120,000 VND/package.

According to this store employee, this year Factory Z121 produced about more than 3 million fireworks displays divided among more than 200 stores nationwide, so "compared to more than 100 million Vietnamese people, it is insignificant". At the same time, this employee also advised "buying fireworks early, because the closer to Tet, the scarcer the goods will be and the higher the price will be".

"Anyone who wants to buy fireworks just bring a photo of their ID card here" - said an employee at the above store.

At fireworks shop No. 12 (No. 134 Hong Tien, Bo De ward, Long Bien district), this shop currently does not have new flower sprayers and flashing pellet sprayers, only the pellet sprayers that have been sold since Tet 2022.

"Currently, the store only has pellet spraying racks, each rack costs 500,000 VND" - said a representative of this store.

Recorded at fireworks store No. 15 (No. 157 Dang Tien Dong, Trung Liet Ward, Dong Da District) on the morning of December 26, the price of pellet fireworks was sold at 500,000 VND/set, and the price of flashing pellet fireworks was 800,000 VND/set.

At fireworks shop No. 11 (residential area of ​​Construction College No. 1, Trung Van, Nam Tu Liem district) on the morning of December 26, this shop is only selling regular pellet fireworks, the flashing pellet fireworks "will only be available on weekends".

"Currently, my shop only has the regular pellet sprayer, we quote 500,000 VND/set. The flashing pellet sprayer will arrive this weekend, the price for this type is not available yet, when the factory supplies the goods and the price, we will know how much it will sell for" - said the representative of this store.

In addition to authorized fireworks stores, on Facebook there are currently many groups set up to sell fireworks from Factory Z121.

Contacting a phone number advertised on Facebook as "having fireworks from Factory Z121" for sale, a man answered the phone and said he was currently selling pellet spraying rigs for 580,000 VND/rig, with the commitment of "full documents".

"I live on Khuong Dinh Street, Thanh Xuan District. Just call me at 4XX (address has been changed - PV). The fireworks sold have full papers and QR codes, so you can rest assured," this person said.

Z121 factory stipulates that authorized dealers can only sell a maximum of three fireworks displays to each person, but in reality, with "online fireworks stores", people can buy as many as they want, at prices much higher than the listed price.

A representative of the Z121 Factory's sales department said that although the law does not prohibit people from buying limited quantities, the factory requires stores not to sell large quantities to wholesalers to avoid resale.

This person also said that for buying and reselling, the reseller would be in violation.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Anh Manh, Deputy Director of Factory Z121, said that since the beginning of October 2022, the factory has proactively implemented the plan to supply the first batch of artillery to all authorized stores nationwide.

"From now until the end of December, we will continue to supply the second batch of goods to all stores so that they can serve all people," Mr. Manh informed.

In the near future, Factory Z121 is expected to continue researching and launching 36-tube fireworks to serve the people.
