Currently, there is still a situation where people raise fish in cages in the sanitary protection area of ​​the surface water exploitation project serving the daily life of the An Binh Commune Clean Water Plant (Nam Sach). This area is located on Kinh Thay River, passing through An Dong village.

According to Decision No. 128/QD-UBND dated January 16, 2018 of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee on approving the sanitary protection area of ​​surface water exploitation works for domestic use at An Binh Commune Clean Water Plant of Nam Son Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company, the sanitary protection area is 800 m upstream and 200 m downstream from the center of the water intake of the exploitation works.

However, within the protected area of ​​An Dong village, people still set up cages and raise fish. Industrial feed sources, fish waste and waste generated during the cage fish farming process pose a risk of pollution, not ensuring the safety of water exploitation for the project. It is recommended that Nam Son Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company and local authorities coordinate to handle this.
