"Queen of Rock" Ngoc Anh reveals the reason for competing in "Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind" at the age of 60

Once one of the most sought-after singers in all three regions of the country, singer Ngoc Anh was associated with the image of a shining star in the 80s and 90s of the last century. Confirming her participation in Chi dep dap gio 2024, Ngoc Anh surprised the audience when she "competed" in the reality show at the age of 60.

Sharing about this decision, the female singer said: “I am very happy and pleased to be invited by the producer to participate in the program Chi dep dap gio 2024. I know I am the oldest Chi dep in this year's program. I am very excited and very enthusiastic, looking forward to the challenges as well as the explosive performances. I come to the program with a very comfortable mindset because I believe that winning or losing is not important, but having to play my best and having to satisfy all the requirements and criteria of the program."

“Because I am the eldest sister of all, this season, I will try to stay happy, sociable and have fun playing with my younger siblings to have a wonderful memory for my 60th birthday. This is like a gift from the program to me on the occasion of my 60th birthday,” Ngoc Anh added.

Ngoc Anh has affirmed her position as one of the top "Queens of Rock" in Vietnam with a series of hits such as "Sunset on the Ocean", "Highland Flame", "Tri An Echo of Spring", "Spring from Oil Wells", "Say You Will", ... as well as gentle songs such as "Spring by the Window", "Chuyen Do Que Huong" ...

After many years of absence from big stages, Ngoc Anh's return to Chi Dep Dap Gio 2024 is supported by her daughter. She said: "Knowing that I am participating in the program, my daughter said: "Mom, join for fun and meet more people as well as meet more audiences, you will reach young audiences, as well as to make yourself happy at the age of 60". The singer of "Spring by the window" confided that her daughter is the source of motivation and the person who encouraged her to come to Chi Dep Dap Gio 2024.

Coming to Chi Dep Dap Gio 2024, Ngoc Anh has a learning mindset and is determined to do new things. “I am the oldest in this program as well as having many years of experience in the profession. I also have a lot of experience standing on stage, but the problem here is that we have to work together with our teammates as well as perform the acts required by the program. Therefore, I will try to bring out the best of what I have, and for things that are not my strengths, I will listen to the choreographer or work together and try my best to conquer those challenges,” she said.
