The volunteer group "Care-A-Van" of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted presented 40 Tet gifts to disadvantaged students who have excelled in their studies in Thanh Ha district.
On January 20, the Hai Duong Province Association for the Promotion of Education in collaboration with the volunteer group "Care-A-Van" who are students of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted organized the "Color of Lam Tinh Flowers" gift giving program at Thanh Thuy Secondary School and Thanh Hai Secondary School (Thanh Ha).
The volunteer group "Care-A-Van" presented 40 Tet gifts to disadvantaged students who have excelled in their studies (each school received 20 gifts worth 500,000 VND/gift). At the program at the two schools, students from Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted also interacted, shared tips and inspired students to study; organized many games with prizes.
This is a meaningful activity of students of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted, demonstrating the beauty, noble traditional values of humanity, sharing, spreading love; adding confidence, motivation to overcome difficulties in life; contributing to encouraging disadvantaged students to have a warm and happy Lunar New Year.
The volunteer group "Care-A-Van" was established in November 2024 with 10 members who are 12th grade students of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted. After its establishment, the group raised a fund of about 21 million VND from selling goods; mobilizing sponsors. The idea of establishing the group was formed after a volunteer trip to another province.
