Acceptance of 4 topics and projects in the field of agriculture

The Project Management Board "Building a commercial model of new Huong Binh rice varieties" presented a scientific report.

The project "Building a pilot production model for two new watermelon varieties F1 AD 070 and F1 VT 007" was carried out by the Center for Science and Technology Application and Varieties Testing (Department of Science and Technology) on a scale of 20 hectares in Thai Tan (Nam Sach), Ngoc Ky (Tu Ky) and Dong Cam (Kim Thanh) communes in the spring-summer, autumn-winter crop.

As a result, in the spring crop, farmers earned a profit of 97-146 million VND/ha of AD070 melon, and 89-139 million VND/ha of VT 007 melon, 15-30 million VND/ha higher than the control variety. In the winter crop, AD070 yielded a profit of more than 260 million VND/ha, VT007 yielded more than 250 VND/ha, 30-40 million VND/ha higher than the control variety.

The project "Building a commercial model of the new Huong Binh rice variety to bring high economic efficiency" was also carried out by the Center for Science and Technology Application and Testing on an area of ​​150 hectares in Gia Loc, Cam Giang districts and Hai Duong city. As a result, in the spring crop, Huong Binh rice achieved an average yield of 76.26 quintals/ha, and in the summer crop 72.96 quintals/ha, an increase of 36.4% and 35.5% compared to the control variety Bac Thom No. 7.

People participating in planting SHPT3 rice variety express their opinions

The project "Developing a model for producing SHPT3 waterlogged, acid-tolerant rice varieties for processing vermicelli and cakes in the province" was implemented by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in 2020 and 2021, on an area of ​​700 hectares in areas prone to flooding and acidic soils in 8 districts, towns and cities. As a result, the yield of SHPT3 rice variety reached 69.2-73.7 quintals/ha, 6.6-19.2% higher than the control varieties.

The project "Building a model for producing fragrant sticky rice varieties in the province" was implemented by the Agricultural Extension Center (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) in 2021 on an area of ​​120 hectares in Nam Sach, Binh Giang and Thanh Mien districts. In the spring crop, fragrant sticky rice yielded 70.83 quintals/ha, 15.43 quintals/ha higher than the control variety; in the summer-autumn crop, it yielded 63.5 quintals/ha, 12.3 quintals/ha higher, bringing in a profit of about 20.6 million VND/ha, 12.7 million VND/ha higher.

At the acceptance meeting, the Project Management Board presented a melon and rice production process suitable for the land conditions in the province and recommended that localities replicate this model.
