On the morning of December 9, the 17th Hai Duong Provincial People's Council opened its 28th session (regular year-end session) at the Dong Xu Cultural Center (Hai Duong City).
The meeting is expected to last for 2.5 days, with December 10 being the day for questions and discussions in the hall. It is expected that the Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court and the directors of the following departments and branches: Provincial Police, Planning and Investment, Industry and Trade, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, Information and Communications, and Health will answer questions.

The People's Committee of Hai Duong province submitted proposals to issue resolutions of the Provincial People's Council on: Allocation of the 5-year public investment plan for local budget capital 2021-2025 (capital managed by the province); decision on investment policies for a number of public investment projects; adjustment of the Hai Duong Province Urban Development Program to 2030 and the Chi Linh City Urban Development Program to 2040.
The Provincial People's Council is expected to consider many specific policies, including: Support mechanism for implementing social housing construction investment projects; land rent exemption for projects using land for production and business purposes in preferential industries and occupations; tuition fees at public educational institutions that self-finance regular expenses; support for tourism development in the province; support, attraction, treatment, and training of medical human resources at public agencies and units; support for trained workers; support for members of poor households and households that have escaped poverty; policies for people with meritorious services; support for civil servants of "one-stop" departments at all levels...
