On the afternoon of November 30, meeting voters after the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly, Group 2 of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province met voters of the communes: Pham Tran, Dong Quang, Duc Xuong (Gia Loc).
Group 2 attending the meeting included National Assembly delegates: Bui Sy Hoan, Director of the Department of Justice; Dinh Thi Ngoc Dung, Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Center.
The delegation informed voters of the results of the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly and the reception and settlement of voters' petitions of Gia Loc district at the previous meeting.
At the meeting, 4 voters expressed their opinions on 19 issues. The issues raised by voters under the authority of the provincial and district levels were discussed and answered by representatives of departments, branches, and leaders of Gia Loc district.
Responding to comments related to extra teaching and learning, comrade Pham Hong Quan, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, informed that currently, extra teaching and learning at schools have specific regulations on the number of sessions for each level of education. Any teacher who teaches extra teaching outside of school while teaching their regular students is violating the regulations. If voters discover this violation, they can report it to the hotline of the department or the district Department of Education and Training.
Regarding the issue of salary arrangement for former Chairmen of the Veterans Association and allowances for concurrently holding the position of Chairman of the People's Council at the commune level, comrade Trinh Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, said that there are currently regulations on these issues and requested the District People's Committee to arrange resources to ensure policies for workers.
Regarding the opinion that some roads are degraded, especially Provincial Road 393, Chairman of Gia Loc District People's Committee Vu Van Cap informed that some sections have been renovated and upgraded, and will continue to be repaired in the future. For roads managed by the commune, the locality needs to proactively allocate resources to promptly renovate and repair, ensuring travel conditions for the people.
Other issues raised by voters were answered specifically by leaders of departments, branches, and Gia Loc district.
At the end of the meeting, on behalf of Group 2 of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, delegate Bui Sy Hoan, Director of the Department of Justice, received and summarized the opinions and recommendations of voters to send to relevant levels and sectors for consideration and resolution; at the same time, requested sectors, districts and communes to proactively coordinate and promptly resolve voters' recommendations according to their authority.
