To celebrate International Women's Day on March 8 this year, some places organized talks, mainly on enhancing the role of women in maintaining happiness and rekindling the fire of marriage and family.
On the afternoon of March 5, the Hai Duong City Labor Federation deployed the 2024 women's work tasks, commending 7 collectives and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework".
At the program, more than 300 union officials and Heads of Women's Unions of grassroots unions in Hai Duong City were informed by Dr. Hoa Huu Van, former Deputy Director of the Family Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) about the topic "Gender equality work, for the advancement of women to build and maintain family happiness in the 4.0 era".
On the same morning, Kinh Mon Town Labor Federation organized a meeting with the participation of about 200 female union presidents and Heads of Women's Unions at the grassroots level.
At the program, the women performed 10 Ao Dai with the theme “Kinh Mon, the heritage land”. The Ao Dai were painted with images of cultural and historical heritages, promoting specialties and OCOP products such as onions, garlic, guava, oranges, etc. of Kinh Mon town.
Right after the Ao Dai performance, female officials of Kinh Mon town's Trade Union listened to a representative of the Propaganda - Legal Policy Department (Provincial Women's Union) give a talk on the topic "Ethical qualities of Vietnamese women in building a happy and sustainable family".
