MG Cyberster - electric convertible priced at 68,500 USD

Chinese automaker MG has chosen the 2024 Bangkok International Motor Show to announce the price of its Cyberster electric sports car convertible. The Cyberster will be sold in a $68,500 version in Thailand, its first market in Southeast Asia.

MG's all-electric sports car has a unique design with Lamborghini-style doors. Details such as LED headlights and taillights are all angular and fashionable. The Cyberster is 4,535 mm long, 1,913 mm wide, 1,329 mm high, with a 2,690 mm wheelbase and a weight of 1,850 kg. The car's wheels are 20 inches. The MG Cyberster has a fabric roof that folds and is stored neatly in the trunk.

Two-tone interior, sports seats covered in Alcantara and Nappa leather. MG uses 3 screens on the dashboard, including two 7-inch screens and a 12.3-inch entertainment screen. Automatic air conditioning system, supporting PM2.5 air filtration. Push-button gear lever. Flat-bottom steering wheel. Sound system with 8 Bose speakers.

The convertible electric sports car is equipped with two electric motors, 536 horsepower, 725 Nm torque. Acceleration time 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. Cyberster uses a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery with a range of 503 km per full charge.

ADAS driver assistance package with 26 features on Cyberster such as pre-collision warning with emergency braking assist, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane change assist, and distraction warning.

MG Cyberster will be launched to Vietnamese customers from September 2023 at the MG5 and RX5 launch event. In addition, the convertible electric car will also appear at the Vietnam Electric Vehicle Exhibition in early 2024 in Hanoi.

Bangkok Motor Show, Thailand takes place from March 27 to April 7.
