Versions of the E-class produced in 2022 and 2023 are discounted by 130-250 million VND in September, not to mention the Government's 50% discount on registration fees.
As 2024 draws to a close, Mercedes Vietnam is increasing promotions to push the production of E-class models in 2023 and 2022.

Except for the Mercedes E-class and a few imported models with remaining inventory, the remaining models of the German company are almost out of stock from years before 2024. According to some Mercedes dealers, the strong price reduction for the E-class is to prepare for the plan to launch a new generation of this model in late 2024 or 2025, depending on the inventory clearance of the old version.
The E-Class is assembled domestically and enjoys a 50% discount on registration fees from the Government. Dealers are also reducing the price by several tens of millions of VND. As a result, the on-road cost of this mid-size luxury sedan from Mercedes is the lowest since the beginning of the year.
In addition to the promotion for the E-class, Mercedes Vietnam previously adjusted the retail prices of the AMG models from mid-August. Accordingly, the AMG C 43 model has a new price of VND 2.599 billion, a decrease of VND 361 million.
The new price of the AMG A 35 line is 1.818 billion VND, a reduction of 182 million VND. The new price of the AMG GLE 53 Coupe line is 4.699 billion VND, a reduction of 490 million VND. Of these three AMG lines, only the C 43 is assembled domestically, the rest are imported.
In the first 8 months of 2024, the market was not very active, car manufacturers from popular to high-end all promoted to stimulate demand, Mercedes was no exception. Authorized dealers of the three-pointed star brand said that normally when there are incentives from the Government on registration fees for domestically assembled cars, the company's promotions often decrease. However, 2024 is different, for example, the E-class line even increased promotions. That shows that the market is still facing difficulties due to the impact of the macro economy, and customer spending on cars is still cautious.
