Car companies give away registration fees: Mercedes reduces price by nearly half a billion dong

In response to the news that the Ministry of Finance has proposed a 50% reduction in registration fees for domestically produced cars from August 1, many car dealers have started to boost sales by persuading customers to "deposit" to hold the car price and receive the car in August to enjoy the reduced registration fee.

In addition to the above "deposit" form, many car companies have taken advantage of this waiting period to "close in customers" by offering incentives to reduce registration fees for customers who buy cars early.

4 Honda car models have sharp price reduction, the highest is up to 220 million VND

In July, 3 Honda models, City, BR-V, CR-V, all received discounts in the form of registration fee gifts from 50-100%, the Accord model alone received the highest cash discount of up to 220 million VND.

The second highest reduction is the Honda CR-V, which is given 100% of the registration fee (applied at 10%) for the G version, so the total reduction is 140 million, bringing the car price down to 969 million VND. The Honda CR-V L version is given 100% of the registration fee, equivalent to a reduction of 116 million VND, and the new price after the reduction is 1.043 billion VND.

Also receiving a 100% reduction in registration fees is the Honda City model, but only for the City G and L versions, equivalent to a reduction of 55.9 and 58.9 million VND. Meanwhile, the City RS version is supported with 50% of the registration fee, equivalent to a reduction of 20.3 million VND.

The Honda BR-V compact multi-purpose vehicle is supported with 50% of the registration fee for both G and L versions, equivalent to a value of about 33 million and 35.5 million VND.

Mercedes-Benz reduces car prices up to 451 million VND

Luxury car brand Mercedes-Benz has just offered a cash discount equivalent to 50% of the registration fee for customers choosing car models including Mercedes-Benz GLC 200, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC.

In particular, the highest discount is on the V 250 AMG VIN 2022 model, up to 451 million VND (listed price is 3.759 billion VND).

The second highest reduction of up to 192 million VND thanks to a 50% discount on registration fee is the Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG FL (listed price 2.95 billion VND). Next is the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC priced at 2.96 billion VND, reduced to 2.78 billion VND. Mercedes-Benz E 200 Exclusive FL priced at 2.54 billion VND, reduced to 2.388 billion VND. Mercedes-Benz no longer publishes its car sales figures despite being a member of VAMA, so the German luxury carmaker’s monthly and annual sales figures are almost kept secret. Mitsubishi's highest rolling price reduction is 136.5 million VND

Compared to last month, Mitsubishi car models continue to apply the policy of giving away 50-100% of registration fees. In particular, the D-size SUV model Pajero Sport is given 100% of registration fees for both versions. The Pajero Sport Diesel 4x2 AT version has a listed price of 1.13 billion VND and a rolling price of about 1.246 billion VND, after a 100% discount in advance, equivalent to a cash discount of 113 million VND. The 4x4 version has a listed price of 1.365 billion VND and a rolling price of 1.505 billion VND, after the registration fee reduction, the corresponding reduction will be up to 136.5 million VND.

Coming in at number 2 is Outlander, even though Mitsubishi only gave away 50% of the registration fee for the 2.0 CVT (825 million VND) and 2.0 CVT Premium (950 million VND) versions. Converted to cash, the reductions are 42 million and 47.5 million VND respectively.

The Triton pickup truck also has a 100% reduction in registration fee, but only for the 4×2 AT MIVEC version (priced at 650 million VND), equivalent to 39 million VND. The 4×2 AT Athlete version is only reduced by 50%, equivalent to 23.5 million VND.

The two models Xpander and Xforce (GLX version) both have a 50% reduction in registration fees, equivalent to a reduction of 28-35 million VND.

Not stopping there, Mitsubishi models have some additional valuable gifts such as 2 years of body insurance worth up to 35 million VND, 2-3 years of free maintenance, 360 panoramic camera depending on the car model and version.

BMW price reduction up to 310 million VND

Thaco Auto and BMW continue to apply a 50% reduction in registration fees for some car models in July, the highest level is up to 310 million VND, similar to June.

Specifically, the car models currently receiving incentives equivalent to 50% of registration fees include: 530i M Sport, 430i M Sport Gran Coupe, 840i M Sport and two versions of the BMW X5.

Accordingly, the car model with the highest discount of up to 310 million VND is the 840i M Sport (listed price from 6.2 billion VND), down to 5.89 billion VND. In addition, the Gran Coupe 430i M Sport model also received a discount of up to 140 million VND, down to 2.975 billion VND.

In the 5 series sedan line, BMW applies a preferential price of 155 million VND for the 530i M Sport version. This is also the most advanced version of the 5 series with a selling price of up to 2.759 billion VND, and the price after reduction is 2.604 billion VND. This version is equipped with a B48 engine with a capacity of 252 horsepower, TwinPower Turbo technology and adaptive suspension.

The last car line in the German company's promotion is the 2 versions of BMW X5. This high-end SUV model sold in Vietnam has 2 versions M Sport and X Line, priced from 3.9 billion and 4.1 billion VND respectively. After the promotion, the price is reduced to 3.7 billion and 3.89 billion VND.
