Mazda6 special edition is as expensive as Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition has a more luxurious interior/exterior with a price equal to a luxury car.
With this amount of money, customers can buy luxury sedans such as BMW 320i MSport (VND 1.689 billion) or Mercedes-Benz C 200 Avantgarde Plus (VND 1.588 billion).
At the 2024 Bangkok BIMS Motor Show, the Japanese automaker brought the 20th Anniversary Edition Mazda6, with a price tag of 2.499 million baht (equivalent to 1.704 billion VND).
The overall appearance is still similar to the "regular version", Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition still creates differences thanks to "custom" details.
The Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition is painted in an exclusive Artisan Red Premium color. 19-inch wheels are painted in gunmetal gray. The "20th Anniversary" logo is placed on both sides behind the front wheel wells.
The interior of the Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition impresses with Nappa leather seats. The dashboard and door panels are covered with contrasting brown-gold Leganu fabric on a black background. The 20th anniversary logo is embossed on the front seat headrests.
The 20th anniversary edition of Mazda6 owns a series of top-of-the-line equipment such as: a head-up display (HUD), an 8-inch entertainment screen connecting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 11-speaker Bose sound system, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, electrically adjustable front seats with 2-position memory and an electronic handbrake with integrated Auto Hold.
The rear seats of the car are equipped with air-conditioning vents, armrests and rear sunshades.
The Mazda6 special edition still uses a 2.5L, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G gasoline engine with 192 horsepower and 258Nm of torque, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission adjusted via paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.
The car is still equipped with Sport driving mode, i-Stop temporary engine shutdown technology and G-Vectoring Control Plus advanced acceleration control system.
The Mazda6 20th Anniversary Edition is equipped with the i-Activsense driver assistance technology package including: intelligent cruise control, automatic follow-up of the vehicle in front, emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, blind spot warning, driver attention warning and automatic adaptive headlights.
In addition, basic safety equipment such as electronic balance, hill start assist, 360-degree camera, 8 front/rear parking sensors and 6 airbags are indispensable.
