Mason Greenwood is the biggest phenomenon of Ligue 1 2042-2025 after only 3 rounds, through goals and spectacular explosions with Marseille Club.

Roberto De Zerbi's Marseille have taken seven points from a possible nine and are currently second in the table, behind PSG. Greenwood's contribution to this achievement has been impressive.

Greenwood scored in each of his next two games, showing his superiority and quickly establishing himself as a leader in the historic club of French football.

Last weekend, when De Zerbi's team visited Toulouse, Greenwood shone with a double in the 17th minute of the match.

Remarkably, his second goal came just 80 seconds after the opener, which sent Toulouse crashing out and Marseille running out 3-1 winners.

Many fans who were against signing Mason are now enjoying the quality he brings, something Marseille have not had for decades.

Marseille have not won a trophy since 2012, when they won the Coupe de la Ligue. With the attractive style of play that De Zerbi deploys, and the talent of Greenwood, "Les Minots" (the boys from Marseille) are dreaming of miracles.

In a season where PSG - the only team to win all their matches - no longer has Kylian Mbappe in their squad, anything can happen in Ligue 1.

As for Greenwood, he also dreams of becoming Ligue 1's top scorer, and further aspirational for the European Golden Shoe.

In Europe's top five leagues, only Man City's Erling Haaland - with seven Premier League goals - has a better record than Greenwood.
