According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam will be announced by localities at the same time at 8:00 a.m. on July 18.

In previous years, the Ministry of Education and Training only specified the date for announcing the high school graduation exam scores nationwide, so localities as well as the Ministry of Education and Training had to wait until midnight to announce the results. This forced students, parents, and teachers to stay up all night to check the scores.

This year, the Ministry of Education and Training clearly stipulates that high school graduation exam scores will be announced simultaneously at 8:00 a.m. on July 18. Candidates can look up their exam scores on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission system, the Department of Education and Training, or on the media.

According to the schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), the latest date is July 20th for the high school graduation recognition. The latest date is July 24th for schools to issue temporary graduation certificates; return transcripts and related certificates (originals) to candidates; print and send exam result certificates to candidates.

This change will make it easier for candidates and students to check their high school graduation exam scores. From July 18 to July 27, we will receive appeal applications and create a list of appeals.

After the completion of the 2023 high school graduation exam, the Ministry of Education and Training will continue to direct, guide and strengthen inspection, examination and supervision to ensure good implementation of the stages of marking, comparing exam score data, announcing exam results, reviewing exams...

The inspection teams of the National Examination Steering Committee and the examination marking inspection teams of the Ministry of Education and Training will inspect the marking work at the Examination Councils throughout the duration of this activity to enhance the seriousness of the marking work.

For provinces and cities, the Ministry of Education and Training requires strict and serious implementation of the process of marking essay exams, marking multiple-choice exams and reviewing exams to ensure compliance with the regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, with cameras monitoring the exam room 24/7.

Localities need to strengthen their information technology infrastructure so that the announcement of exam results is smooth and there is no network congestion. At the same time, they need to be ready to support candidates in changing their university and college admission wishes after the exam results are available.

In the 2023 high school graduation exam, 1,024,063 candidates nationwide registered to take the exam. There are a total of 2,272 exam sites and 43,032 exam rooms. Exam sites located in the localities where candidates study have helped candidates avoid long distance travel, not worry about accommodation, creating a calmer and more confident mindset when taking the exam, and at the same time not causing traffic pressure in big cities. After two days of exams, 11,668 candidates dropped out of the exam, 41 students violated the regulations, and 6 officers were suspended from their exam supervision duties.
