On July 1, a representative of the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police said that, implementing the plan of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) on implementing Circular 28 of the Ministry of Public Security on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular 32 and Circular 24, the unit has deployed the inspection of relevant documents of traffic participants and temporarily detained documents in the electronic environment.
On the same morning, at the Lang - Lang Ha intersection, the working group of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 discovered a woman driving a motorbike 29F1-712.XX violating the traffic light signal and stopped the vehicle for inspection.
The driver of the vehicle was Ms. BTH (born in 1997, residing in Tay Ho district, Hanoi), Ms. H. presented the vehicle registration and A1 driver's license on the VNeID application.
Conducting a search on the Driver's License Information Lookup software of the Ministry of Public Security, the information results matched. With the above behavior, the Traffic Police Team drew up an administrative violation record against Ms. BTH and temporarily detained her driver's license in the electronic environment.
After being ticketed, Ms. H. told the traffic police that because she was busy with work and did not pay attention, she drove through a red light, violating traffic laws.
Ms. H. finds that implementing the new regulations is very quick and convenient, without having to carry a lot of documents every time she goes out, creating favorable conditions for people in handling administrative procedures.
Lieutenant Colonel Dang Hong Giang - Captain of Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 said that in preparation for the implementation of Circular No. 28, the unit has disseminated the inspection and control process and provided guidance on handling, temporary detention, and revocation of documents on the VNeID application, thoroughly informing 100% of officers and soldiers in the unit.
"In the first days of implementation, officers and soldiers will step up guidance for people to integrate documents on the VNeID application and how to present relevant documents when requested for inspection," said Lieutenant Colonel Dang Hong Giang.
