On the morning of May 9, on Provincial Road 390C in Quyet Thang Commune (Hai Duong City), a traffic accident occurred between a motorbike and a pedestrian. The 32-year-old man driving the motorbike who caused the accident had an alcohol concentration of 0.292 mg/l of breath.
At around 4:00 a.m. on May 9, 2024, Mr. PXT, born in 1992, from An Phuong commune (Thanh Ha) was traveling on provincial road 390C, heading from National Highway 5 to Thanh Ha town. When he reached km19+400, in the territory of Hoang Lai hamlet, Quyet Thang commune (Hai Duong city), he collided with Ms. NTT, born in 1987, from Van Tue hamlet, Tan Viet commune (Thanh Ha) who was walking on the road.
As a result, Ms. T. suffered a traumatic brain injury and a broken jaw; Mr. T. was injured and suffered a broken eye socket and is being treated at the Provincial General Hospital.
Mr. T's alcohol test result was 0.292 mg/l of breath.
