Kim Thanh is the first district to complete handling of violations of irrigation works.

Previously, through review, Kim Thanh district had 178 cases of violations of irrigation works. In 2024, 4 cases of violations arose, 88 cases existed before 2018 and 86 cases from 2018 - 2024. In 2024, the district has completed handling violations from December 31, 2023 and before.

In March 2025 alone, Kim Thanh handled 4 violations that occurred in 2024 in Kim Xuyen, Tam Ky and Vu Dung communes. As for the 2 violations in Vu Dung commune, as they did not affect the tasks of the irrigation works, the People's Committee of Kim Thanh district requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to allow them to exist, keep the works intact and remove them from the list of violations within the protection scope of irrigation works in the district.

Kim Thanh is the first locality in the province to complete handling of violations of irrigation works.

In order to prevent new violations, the People's Committee of Kim Thanh district requires units and localities in the district to strengthen inspection of the implementation of laws on the protection of irrigation works. Review and clarify the responsibilities of collectives, individuals and heads of agencies, units and localities for the occurrence of new violations. Closely coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units in the process of managing and handling violations of irrigation works in the area.
