The Investigation Police Agency of Chi Linh City Police (Hai Duong) has just decided to initiate a criminal case related to a young man in Van An Ward (Chi Linh) who was sitting in a tea room when a stranger hit him in the head with a chair.
Initial verification results of the Chi Linh City Police Investigation Agency said that at around 10 p.m. on May 3, at Do Hieu tea room in Tuong residential area (Van An ward), Do Van Thiem (born in 1983, currently residing at 60B, Chuong Duong street, Hai Duong city) used a steel frame chair to hit Nguyen Tien T. (born in 1993, living in Tuong residential area) in the head and punched him.
Mr. T. was seriously injured and had to be taken to the emergency room and treated at a medical facility. His body injury rate was at least 8%.
Determining that the incident had signs of intentional injury, the Investigation Police Agency of Chi Linh City Police decided to initiate a criminal case to investigate and clarify.
According to the victim's family, Mr. T. has been discharged from the hospital and is in stable health.
