Prosecuted 3 suspects for assaulting and oppressing a passenger bus after investigation direction from the Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police

On August 13, Quang Ninh Provincial Police informed that the Investigation Police Agency of Ha Long City Police had issued a decision to prosecute three cases of blocking and assaulting bus drivers.

The defendants include: Tran Van Khe (51 years old), Dao Viet Long (33 years old, all residing in Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province) and Nguyen Anh Ngoc (24 years old, residing in Thai Binh City, Thai Binh Province) were prosecuted for the crime of "disturbing public order" related to the act of blocking and assaulting the bus driver on the road.

Previously, the bus company called for help because they were constantly being bullied, had shrimp paste thrown at them, and the driver was assaulted.

Specifically, driver Bui Huu Toi (employee of Thien Hoang Hai Transport Company Limited) was attacked by a group of people while driving on the road in the Bai Chay bridge area.

After the information, Major General Dinh Van Noi, Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police, directed the handling.

Ha Long City Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department of Quang Ninh Province Police to verify and summon people involved in the oppression and assault of driver Toi.

At the police station, this group admitted to blocking the car and attacking driver Toi at the foot of Bai Chay bridge, Bai Chay ward, Ha Long city.

This group said they had repeatedly blocked vehicles of Thien Hoang Hai, Thai Binh to threaten and beat the drivers.
