Three suspects who blocked a car, squeezed and assaulted a driver have just been prosecuted by Ha Long City Police, Quang Ninh Province for “disturbing public order”. On August 13, Quang Ninh Provincial Police informed that the Investigation Police Agency of Ha Long City Police had issued a decision to prosecute three cases of blocking and assaulting bus drivers.
The defendants include: Tran Van Khe (51 years old), Dao Viet Long (33 years old, all residing in Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province) and Nguyen Anh Ngoc (24 years old, residing in Thai Binh City, Thai Binh Province) were prosecuted for the crime of "disturbing public order" related to the act of blocking and assaulting the bus driver on the road.
Previously, the bus company called for help because they were constantly being bullied, had shrimp paste thrown at them, and the driver was assaulted.
Specifically, driver Bui Huu Toi (employee of Thien Hoang Hai Transport Company Limited) was attacked by a group of people while driving on the road in the Bai Chay bridge area.
