About 1,100 candidates have enrolled in the Pedagogy Department of Hai Duong University.

There are about 1,100 candidates enrolled in the education sector, reaching 85% of the total enrollment target for this sector. There are about 860 applications for university-level education, and 150 applications for college-level education. The number of candidates from Hai Duong accounts for about 36%.

This is the first year that 8 university-level pedagogical majors have been opened for enrollment after the merger of Hai Duong College with Hai Duong University, including: mathematics, English, literature, natural sciences, history, physical education, primary education and preschool education. In the context of a shortage of teacher recruitment resources, the number of pedagogical students graduating from this university will meet the recruitment needs of schools in and outside the province.

In addition, the economics, engineering, and social sciences and humanities block also had about 250 candidates applying for admission.

Hai Duong University plans to conduct additional recruitment on September 9. The school will continue to recruit until December 2023. All 8 university-level pedagogical majors have a standard score based on the high school graduation exam results and high school study results from 19 points. The college-level preschool education major has a standard score of 17 points.

In 2023, Hai Duong University will enroll about 1,980 students, of which about 1,300 will be in the pedagogical sector.
