Khanh Hoa reports additional content of Nha Trang general planning project

On March 16, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said it had sent a report to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and the Ministry of Construction on supplementing some contents related to the project to adjust the general planning of Khanh Hoa City.Ha Trang by 2040.

Nha Trang planning does not have some sea encroachment locations for projects.

The above report was made after Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha gave instructions and the Ministry of Construction requested to review information and complete the project documents to adjust the general planning of Nha Trang City until 2040.

In particular, the content requires the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province to review, handle, and complete the planning orientation related to 42 projects in Nha Trang city.

Khanh Hoa has had a dialogue (second time) with 5 businesses that still have opinions and requests related to the project to adjust the general planning of Nha Trang City until 2040.

After discussion and dialogue, 3 investors agreed, however, 2 businesses still did not agree and continued to reserve their proposed recommendations.

According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, during the process of researching and preparing the project to adjust the general planning of Nha Trang City, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee agreed not to plan some sea encroachment locations to implement the project along Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong Street (from Ho Tien area to the Navy Port). Therefore, the project's sea encroachment part no longer exists in the project.

According to the People's Committee of this province, based on the landslide topic, carefully considering the arrangement of residential land for cases such as the Vinh Hoa Lake residential area project according to the policy of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, the 2040 master plan has oriented the project area towards the goal of developing services and trade.

Do not legalize violations

Khanh Hoa Province believes that these two projects have defined functions in the 2012 master plan. However, based on political foundations and current regulations, the Provincial People's Committee will study and implement local adjustments to the master plan after competent state agencies have approved regulations on sea encroachment, national marine space planning, and coastal protection corridors...

Regarding the review and handling of projects, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee commits to take responsibility for resolving related issues, ensuring that violations are not legalized.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requested the Ministry of Construction to review and report to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha for approval of the project, creating favorable conditions to promote the development of Nha Trang City and Khanh Hoa Province.

After the planning project is approved by the Prime Minister, the province continues to direct its affiliated units to review and implement the establishment and adjustment of zoning, detailed and land use plans... to ensure consistency and uniformity in accordance with legal regulations.
