Kim Thanh district achieved 11 targets and exceeded the resolution's goals.

According to the preliminary report, up to now, Kim Thanh district has achieved and exceeded 11 out of 17 resolutions set by the District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. The remaining 6 targets are all on schedule.

The targets exceeding the plan include: the value of agricultural and aquatic production increased by an average of 4.54%/year (target increased by an average of 2%/year); the value of industrial and construction production increased by an average of 15.87%/year (target increased by 13.2%/year); the value of service production increased by an average of 12.66%/year (target increased by 11.5%/year). Every year, the district has 70 newly established enterprises (target increased by 30 newly established enterprises/year).

Up to now, of the 9 key projects, Kim Thanh has 3 completed and put into use, 6 projects are under implementation (of which 3 projects are expected to be completed in 2023). The district has mobilized resources well to implement the national target program on new rural construction and meet new rural standards. It is expected that by the end of the second quarter of 2023, 10/17 communes will achieve advanced new rural commune status and 1 commune will meet model new rural standards. Kim Thanh maintains the effective operation of 2 industrial parks, 3 industrial clusters and 20 industrial points. Well implementing the planning, appraisal and management of planning. In particular, completing the planning of Kim Thanh district area to 2030, with a vision to 2050, general planning of communes to 2030, continuing to complete the adjusted planning to expand Phu Thai urban area to 2030.

There have been many clear changes in the cultural and social fields. The whole district has 50/58 schools meeting national standards, reaching 86.2%, of which 19 schools have reached level 2 standards. The rate of people participating in health insurance is 90%, the rate of workers of working age participating in social insurance is 43.2%. Organizing training and fostering for 2,771 rural workers, increasing the rate of workers with vocational training and certificates from 29.2% in 2020 to 31.6% in 2022...

In the work of Party building, every year, Kim Thanh Party Committee has 93% or more of its Party organizations completing their tasks well, with no weak Party organizations. The percentage of Party members completing their tasks well or better accounts for over 92% of the total number of Party members. From September 2020 to now, the whole district has trained 498 outstanding masses in Party awareness; trained 387 probationary Party members; and admitted 388 new Party members.

Seven opinions presented at the conference clarified the achievements, difficulties and limitations in the process of implementing the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels; shared experiences, good practices, proposed solutions in implementing the targets of socio-economic development, security - defense, administrative reform, Party building, especially mobilizing resources in implementing key projects...

To successfully implement the goals from now until the end of the term, Kim Thanh District Party Committee has set out many key tasks and solutions. These are to actively transform the structure of agricultural production and rural economy; improve the efficiency of exploiting and using agricultural land, producing high-yield and high-quality crop and livestock varieties, along with the application of new technical advances. Strengthening the mobilization of resources, accelerating the urbanization rate, striving to complete the goal of building Phu Thai town into a type IV urban area and Dong Cam and Cong Hoa communes into type V urban areas in the delta. Completing the adjustment of the district's land use planning for the 2021-2030 period; developing and implementing the annual land use plan well.

The district is determined to overcome difficulties, basically eliminate violations, and enforce land recovery to clear the site for construction projects. Improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots party organizations. Build a contingent of cadres and party members with theoretical knowledge, professional expertise and revolutionary ethics.
