Hong Du Commune (Ninh Giang) has completed the advanced new rural construction program and is striving to achieve model new rural commune status.
In 2019, Hong Du and Hong Thai communes (Ninh Giang) merged into Hong Du commune. Promoting the tradition of their homeland, the Party Committee and people of Hong Du united, completed the advanced new rural program and strived for a model new rural area in the period of 2021-2025.

The entire 35.76 km of rural roads in the commune are concreted. In the photo: The Ben hamlet road, Tam Tuong village has just been completed, 200 m long, 8 m wide, with public lighting with a total investment of 1.2 billion VND.
Along with agricultural production, Hong Du is interested in developing industry and trade services, contributing to solving on-site employment for many workers. In the photo: SENYING One Member Co., Ltd. specializes in producing leather shoes for export to the European market, creating jobs for 1,500 workers, with an average income of 12 million VND/person/month.
The bamboo and rattan weaving craft village of Tieu Tuong village (old Tieu village) is maintained and preserved. Currently, there are 15 households producing, creating jobs for 30 elderly workers during the off-season, with an average monthly income of 2 million VND per worker.
The movement of physical training and sports is of interest. The whole commune has 7 villages, all of which have cultural houses and sports grounds.
The whole commune currently has 4 swimming pools, 3 of which have been planned and will soon be completed and put into use.
The gate of Dau Tri cultural village has been preserved for more than 100 years.
