To celebrate the 218th anniversary of Thanh Dong's founding, the 68th anniversary of the city's liberation and the 25th anniversary of Hai Duong city's founding, from October 26 to 30, wards and communes in the city organized cultural and artistic exchanges in clusters.
On the evenings of October 27, 28 and 30, the clusters organized cultural activities in the wards of Cam Thuong, Le Thanh Nghi, Thanh Binh and Thach Khoi. Previously, on the evening of October 26, the clusters of wards and communes of Nam Dong, Tien Tien, Ai Quoc, Quyet Thang and Nhi Chau organized cultural exchanges at the hall of the People's Committee of Nam Dong ward.
A performance by Nguyen Trai Club
Morning of October 27,Nguyen Trai Retirement Cluborganized the 9th art festival. More than 150 senior members of the club performed nearly 30 art performances. Many performances were elaborately staged praising the Party and Uncle Ho, expressing love for the homeland and country, and pride in the historic land of Thanh Dong.
Students and teachers of Tan Binh Primary School performed a folk dance to celebrate the 218th anniversary of Thanh Dong's founding, the 68th anniversary of the city's liberation, and the 25th anniversary of Hai Duong City's founding.
On the same day, more than 1,000 students and teachersTan Binh Primary SchoolA folk dance performance to the song “My House” composed by musician Hoang Thanh from a poem of the same name by Pham Thi Hong Minh, a 4H student of the school, won second prize in the 2021 “Thanh Dong Shines” Poetry Contest. This performance by the students and teachers will be videotaped to be introduced in collective activities and on the school’s Fanpage. The 3-minute video shows the children’s pride in living in a city rich in historical, cultural and dynamic traditions.
Morning of October 29,Provincial Center for Culture and ArtsOrganize cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the 218th anniversary of the founding of Thanh Dong (1804 - 2022), the 68th anniversary of the liberation of Hai Duong city (October 30, 1954 - October 30, 2022) and the 25th anniversary of the founding of the city (1997-2022).
The event was attended by more than 200 members from clubs under the provincial Cultural and Artistic Center such as: health care, dancing, Thanh Dong poetry, Cheo singing, Van singing, Ca Tru, music and dance, Xu Dong photography, etc.
The clubs brought 15 performances of physical exercises, folk dance, flower dance, fan dance, singing, reciting poems... with content praising the Party, Uncle Ho and the land and people of historic Thanh Dong - heroic Hai Duong city.
A part of the program
On the evening of October 30, at the Central Cultural House,Provincial Center for Culture and ArtsOrganized an art performance program. The program lasted 45 minutes, with 40 artists, singers, and actors participating in the performance with 12 song and dance performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and the land and people of Hai Duong.
The program attracted hundreds of people to watch, contributing to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for the city's people.
