Ms. Ngo Thi Ha (39 years old) in Te village, Hop Tien commune (Nam Sach, Hai Duong) is in dire circumstances, raising 4 young children and an old and weak mother-in-law by herself.
Currently, Ms. Ha and her four children live with her mother-in-law in a severely degraded house. After the recent storm No. 3, part of her house's surrounding wall collapsed, trees in the garden were broken, and rice fields were flooded...
Ms. Ha's 4 children, the oldest is only 10 years old, the youngest is only 3 months old. Her mother-in-law is 86 years old this year, old and sick.
In the past, the couple also worked hard, although it was hard, it was better than now. Disaster struck the family when her husband, Nguyen The Lenh (49 years old), passed away last August, leaving her with 4 young children and a frail mother.
The house where Ms. Ha's family lives was built in 1982, only about 40m2and has seriously degraded. The walls are covered with black moss and mold, the plaster is peeling off, and some places are cracked and crooked. There are no valuable items in the house. According to many people in the neighborhood, her family has the most difficult situation in the commune.
The family's main income is 3 sao of rice. Ms. Ha is a slow person and has to bear the pain of losing her husband. Her children are still young, so everyone sympathizes with her. Ms. Tran Thi Lan, President of the Red Cross Society of Hop Tien Commune (Nam Sach), said that organizations, groups, and neighbors have donated to support the family, but only a small amount. Ms. Lan hopes that benefactors will create conditions to help Ms. Ha's family ease the difficulties.
